BACHELOR OF DENTAL SCIENCE
COURSE STRUCTURE
The Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) is a five year, full-time fixed course with a recently updated curriculum. It is awarded as either a pass or an honours degree. Students must pass all subjects in their current year of enrolment before proceeding to the next year.
The first three years of the course concentrate on the basic sciences relevant to dentistry and the later years are mostly devoted to clinical practice and matters arising from practice. The subjects undertaken in the course are listed below.
