FEES

AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND CITIZENS/AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTS

School Leavers and Non-School Leavers

How much you pay for your tuition will depend on what type of university place you have and the subjects you undertake as part of that course. There are 2 types of places that you can have - a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) or an Australian fee place.

If you accept a CSP place, then the Australian Government will contribute towards the cost of your course. The Government will also set a maximum limit on how much the University can ask you to contribute to a CSP place. For further information on CSP places, refer to http://www.futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au/courses/fees.html.

If you accept an Australian fee place, then the Australian Government will not contribute towards the cost of your course. This means you will have to pay the full tuition fee for the course as set by the University. Further information about costs for fee-based enrolment can be found at http://www.futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au/courses/fees.html.

Transferring from a full-fee place to a CSP (Commonwealth Supported Place)

University of Melbourne Australian fee-paying students will automatically receive a CSP place, provided they have a cumulative H2A average over 100 points during the course.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Course fees for international students are based upon the subjects undertaken within a course. For more information on International fee places, refer to http://www.futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au/courses/fees.html.
