Restorative Dentistry

Undergraduate:

The Restorative Dentistry Section is responsible for teaching of dental materials science, pre-clinical operative dentistry, removable prosthodontics, fixed prosthodontics, general practice, integrated dental practice, implant dentistry and occlusion in the BDSc course.

Postgraduate:

Restorative Dentistry staff have responsibility for postgraduate programs in prosthodontics and in endodontics, leading to the degree of Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DCD) and specialist registration with Australian dental boards. Section staff are also responsible for administration and teaching in the Postgraduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry curently offered in Implant Dentistry.

Research Activities:

Section staff have has research interests in clinical and laboratory aspects of dental materials; adhesion; tooth and bone biomechanics; implant dentistry.
